Orange is Home! 🧡

After two months away, our "Little Orange" is finally back where she belongs. While the house has been a whirlwind of activity lately, having her home feels like the final piece of the puzzle falling into place.
For the last two months, Orange went on a special "holiday" to stay with my dear friends, Izzie and Edd. With two litters on the ground at once, plus the mammoth task of renovating both my cottage and the new house, I knew I couldn't give Orange the individual time and ring prep she deserved.
Izzie and Edd opened their home and their hearts to her, dedicating so much time to her training and socialisation. The change in her is incredible—she has gained so much confidence and matured beautifully during her stay.
Success in the Ring
Their hard work certainly paid off! At her very first show, Orange blew us all away by qualifying for Crufts and picking up several Junior Warrant (JW) points. Seeing her potential recognised by the judges so early on was a huge proud-mamma moment for me.
A Bittersweet Update
However, among the chaos of the renovations and the puppies, I have some devastating news: I missed the entry deadline for Crufts. I am absolutely gutted. Knowing she has so much potential and earned her place there makes it a very hard pill to swallow. It’s one of those "breeder-life" lessons that hits hard when you're juggling a million things at once.
Looking Ahead
While we won't be heading to the NEC this year, this is far from the end of Orange’s journey. We are dusting ourselves off and setting our sights on the Toller Championship Show. She is in fantastic form, and I can’t wait to get back on the lead myself and watch her "strut her stuff" in front of the breed specialists.
A massive, heartfelt thank you to Izzie and Edd for looking after her so perfectly. Orange is home, she’s confident, and we are ready for the season ahead!
